Lauren Prince-Wright
Founder & Director
(May 2024-present)
With a background in Public Relations, Teaching and Forest School Leadership, Lauren is passionate about social and environmental sustainability. She founded The Campfire Experience in May 2024, and after lining up a series of inspiring events in collaboration with special guest-hosts, launched the company's first event in January 2025. Having proudly pivoted her career from the office to the outdoors, she hasn't looked back since!
Personal mission: Make physically and mentally healthy outdoor experiences accessible and inclusive.
Catherine Desmond
Director
(Apr 2025-present)
Catherine balances her Director role alongside her other local volunteering projects. She is a Deddington News Editor, Friends of Deddington Church Trustee, and Deddington Media CIC Director.
Personal mission: Tempt more people to venture outdoors, more often.
Mandeep Mangat
Event Assistant
(Jan 2025-present)
A retail Merchandising Director during the week, Mandeep dedicates one weekend per month to support the smooth running of The Campfire Experience events. He takes particular pride in ensuring a steady flow of hot drinks for our guests. Hot chocolate and mulled apple juice are his specialities, and have received many compliments.
Personal mission: Provide the best possible experience for our guests.
Sue Morgan
Event Assistant
(Jun 2025-present)
Sue came to a couple of our events and enjoyed them so much, she joined us! She has a background in NHS leadership and is an advocate for the positive impact of the outdoor environment on health and wellbeing. She has a Masters degree in Coaching and Mentoring. Sue enjoys yoga, swimming, horse riding, meditation and listening to loud music (not all at the same time).
Personal mission: Support making outdoor activities accessible.
